PAR30 shaped LED light bulbs are at or near 3 3/4" in diameter. PAR 30 lamps are used in many home, commercial and municipal applications. Traditionally the PAR lamp shape is based on a parabolic shape that is coated with a reflective material. Most LED solutions have a much better directed light source so there is no need for a parabolic reflection technology, though this name is still used to describe the general lamp diameter and shape for replacement purposes.
